Miran Vaupotić

FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR

Miran Vaupotić (MBA, MMus, FRSA) is an internationally active cultural entrepreneur and music professional. With experience spanning performing, executive roles in the recording industry, music education, and artist management, Vaupotić brings a holistic perspective to the music profession, connecting artistic excellence with strategic cultural management.

He is the Founder and Managing Director of GREEN NOTE, a boutique artists management and creative agency working internationally with artists, orchestras, festivals, and cultural institutions, committed to promoting sustainability and ecological awareness in its operations. At GREEN NOTE, he fosters artistic excellence while shaping projects that integrate practical environmental mindfulness. He serves as President of the Zagreb Symphony Orchestra and is Secretary General of the International Competition ASTOR PIAZZOLLA®.

Vaupotić is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), a GRAMMY Voting Member of The Recording Academy, and an Associate Member of The Latin Recording Academy, reflecting his engagement with international professional networks. He is listed in Hübners Who’s Who in Croatia, a reference work recognizing prominent contemporary figures and their achievements.

An important part of his professional path has been shaped by his work on the podium. Vaupotić developed an international conducting profile, holding positions such as Chief Conductor of the South Czech Philharmonic and Chief Conductor of the Croatian Chamber Orchestra, and collaborating as Artistic Partner of Musici del Teatro alla Scala in Milan. He has worked with some of the world’s leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and the Berliner Symphoniker, and has performed in major venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Wiener Musikverein, and the Berliner Philharmonie. He won First Prize at the 12th International Aram Khachaturian Conducting Competition in Yerevan, Armenia.

Vaupotić has held senior executive roles in the recording industry, notably as Project Director at PARMA Recordings, gaining in-depth insight into production processes, artist relations, and the broader mechanics of the music business.

He brings more than 15 years of experience in music education, having taught in conservatory-affiliated programs and music schools, guiding children and young adults in their artistic development.

He holds an MBA from the University of Lancashire, a Master of Music (MMus) from the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula, and a Music Business Specialization Certificate from Berklee College of Music, combining artistic training with strategic management and business expertise. His work today focuses on music entrepreneurship, cultural management, and international collaboration, informed by hands-on experience across all major segments of the music profession.
